I listen to this episode maybe once a month. I’m heavily considering a Doxa for my next watch but I’m stuck between the Sub 300 and the Sub 300T. I’m genuinely confused by the two. Why is the Sub 300 $500 more than the 300T when the 300T has a better depth rating? It makes me think I’m missing something about the Sub 300.

I know this was a while back but I thought I would add a comment because I’ve owned both. The 300 wears dramatically better in my opinion. It has a thinner case, smaller dial and cosc eta 2824. The 300t runs the top grade 2824 not cosc certified. The 300 is just more charming and has a vintage vibe that the 300T doesn’t have. The 300 was also the first Doxa dive watch so it’s more iconic to the brand. If you have a smaller wrist and care about the charm and vintage feel then the 300 is worth the extra cost. If you don’t like the small dial and don’t care about the charm then the 300t is perfectly fine.
