The day has finally come and Jason’s brand-new thriller novel Depth Charge is here! In an episode largely focused on Jason’s path to writing his modern high-seas thriller, Jason and James dig into the writing process, the unforeseen challenges therein, and a whole bunch of extras (even a score!). Jason has spent the better part of the past two years working on the book and it sits squarely in the TGN wheelhouse, with diving, shipwreck hunting, international intrigue, psychopathic baddies, and so much more.
Late to this episode but listened yesterday and bought Depth Charge on my Kindle last night. Straight away you can identify the style of writing Jason talks about in this episode, and how the tips he got influenced the book.
Congrats on the book Jason. I cnat wait to dive in....sorry. I have a quesiton for you. So I ordered my book from Amazon yesterday (9/13). It arrived today, and on the very last page is the text "Made in the USA, Coppell TX, 13 September 2021". First, Coppell is just around the corner from me. Second, are these printed on demand or something? That is quite cool! By the way, after I ordered this one, I saw the option to get a signed copy on your website, so I went ahead and grabbed one of those also. I'll probably give this copy away to a friend.
Thanks for buying a book! Now that's what I call local printing! Yes, Amazon does print on demand. I didn't know how many, or where, their facilities are, but I guess they choose from their vast network to print as close to the destination as possible. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for also ordering a signed copy! -- JH
