It’s the last show of 2022 and the TGN boys thought it would be fun to look back on a great year for watches by focusing on some of their favorite new models.
I love the fact you put the Lorier Zephyr on here. I'm not usually a dress watch guy or a rectangular watch guy but I bought the Crimson version on site at NY Watch Windup Fair. It is my third Lorier (Gemini 1 Panda and Safari Copper) and L&L are just great people and I love what they are doing. The fact they made it an automatic without a seconds hand makes me smile as it would have been so easy to make this a quartz since there is no seconds hand and they'd avoid the "quartz tick" by default. Brilliant piece and a great price. While it won't see a lot of wrist time, it will share time with my gold 1962 Omega Seamaster (my father's watch) on special occasions.
I have to agree with James on the Porsche Design. I've loved this watch for a long, long time and unfortunately since Top Gun 2 they've gone from $3k to many times that. It's the old "Should've grabbed one when I had the chance." Hindsight, as they say. I'd love to set a two or three year goal to offload a few watches and save for a newer Chrono 1. Fun ep, boys!
A great way to end the year. Congrats on all your successes!
My 2022 watch is my new MKII Paradive. Well worth waiting for as Bill’s team builds the watches that are an homage to the past but built for the present and the future.
I love the Lorier Zepher as well!
Thanks for being one the best parts of my 2022, congratulations on your success and for creating the nicest community of watches.
It would be nice to have a collection inspection episode, you already grow your collections with very interesting new acquisitions.
Happy holidays

Thanks for another great year of podcasts! Looking forward to what 2023 brings.

I love that Farer Roche so much. Might have to make some room for it this year
