This week’s episode features a download from James about his recent trip to Costa Rica and the even more recent delivery of the watch he bought during the previous episode – a special Breitling Pluton made for the Italian “Diavoli Rossi.” From diving in Samara and butterfly sanctuaries in San Jose to a strange ana-digi Breitling from the 80s – it’s an adventure-packed episode.
As well as being a short-lived 1950s aerobatic team, "Diavoli Rossi" is also the nickname for the Italian Air Force's 6th Wing (or 6º Stormo). Since 1982 they've been flying the Tornado, though they're now transitioning to the F-35. There's a page on the Italian Wikipedia about the unit here: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/6º_Stormo .
