The TGN boys are back this week with a special challenge, it’s the classic “one watch” consideration but it spans the parallel reality of three different budgets – under $1,000, under $5,000, and under $10,000. Each is its own distinct choice, meant to be our only watch. Press play to be part of the fun.
Great episode. Your love for all things Tudor is infectious.
Are we ready for a fall/winder gear episode? Not a holiday shopping list, but rather gear we might want to know about that helps get us through the next 6 months.
Would love to see this and an EDC episode. For EDC it would be cool to see it for travel (James) and stay at home (Jason) as I believe James is traveling more. Also can't wait for the gift idea episode.
I always welcome these "challenge on a budget" episodes. You guys sold me to the Sinn U50 a few years ago and it's no surprise that it's still on the list. It's such a great watch! Now, my question would be---what's holding you guys up to owning one?
Ah, that must be it. I wasn’t aware of such a thing either. Must have gotten confused! Thanks.
Always love the challenge episodes!
My picks based on the rules are as follows:
1k: CWC 1983 ROYAL NAVY DIVERS QUARTZ REISSUE
5k: Tudor Pelagos FXD Black
10k: Rolex Explorer II 16570 Black Dial
Great show and making it a case where you can't pick what you have owned makes it tough.
$1k: Seiko Alpinist GMT
$5k: NOMOS Metro
$10k: Omega SMP James Bond 60th
Thanks for a great episode! Which CWC were you referring to? A titanium one, right?
I’m not aware of any titanium CWC, perhaps you are referring to Scurfa?
