With both Jason and James getting a strong hit of real winter this week, the TGN boys thought it would be a good idea to break down some of their tips for getting the most out of the coldest months. From great gear to simple preparations to the chance to try something new – winter isn’t just cold toes and shoveling snow (at least, not if you’re doing it right).
From the top, James is recording from a new location (within his own home) and Jason is digging into a brand new book. Stay in the mix for a Final Notes that will have you booking flights to Alaska as a Rogue Hero.

Great episode for those of us with a proclivity for cooler climes or winter sports! My most loved winter gear included a pair of Le Chameau Vierzonord neoprene-lined Welles. They sound like an elevated version of your Bogs boots. I wore them every day for nine months on the ice in Antarctica and never cold cold feet. They are not cheap but they are wonderfully comfortable and have worn like iron thus far! Keep it up gents!
Will the slack messages disappear after 3 months? It's usually like that on the free plan.
