I upgraded my subscription to be a yearly supporter in June but never received a TGN supporter package. Perhaps I’m mistaken and that offer was only for a limited time. I wanted to reach out and make sure. Either way I’m happy to support the show.
I remember meeting Chase at that meetup in Minneapolis. It was one of the early meetups that I attended when I got into this hobby. I had a great time at it, too.
It's been great seeing how Oak & Oscar have grown since those early days.
Great episode again. It's nice to hear from people who love what they do and do it like they mean it. Here's a question for the community. I'm a large format landscape photographer and do most of my work (which is mostly sweaty hiking and sweaty waiting) in tropical places. I've always worn old seiko divers with no fear of humidity, etc., but I'm looking at the CWC mellor and really wanna wear it taking pictures but the water resistance is only 50m. Can someone who maybe lives in a more humid climate than me chime in on humidity and water resistance? Is Jason's statement of '50 meters is enough for pretty much anything' applicable when it's really hot and really humid? THANKS.
Great episode, and really making me wish I could have made it to CHI. +1 on the Aqualand, although the pragmatist in me means I'd likely not pick one up. I'm not a scuba diver and although I do also enjoy ana-digi watches, the digi screens are usually so small that reading them reliably it too difficult. That was what caused the Seiko safarnie to move on from my collection.
The bundle looks great, and brilliantly quick fulfillment. I ordered on Wed morning and had it in hand by Fri afternoon.
I ordered one of the ZD rubber nato straps the other day (thanks to TGN for the recommend) and noticed that ZD do a proper No Deco strap made by Bonetto Cinturini -
+1 on the Aqualand. +2 if it's a TGN special edition! 🤙
Aqualand +1. It is so cool. I will probably buy one on grey market to get one soon.
Wow, the story about Hemingway in final notes was fantastic. Thanks for the link!
A bit late on this, but ...
Aqualand +1
Love that one!
Hey James & Jason,
I upgraded my subscription to be a yearly supporter in June but never received a TGN supporter package. Perhaps I’m mistaken and that offer was only for a limited time. I wanted to reach out and make sure. Either way I’m happy to support the show.
Keep the great work!
No new episode today. Did I miss the memo? Anyone?
Ordered my 007 set here in the US. James, they are still available in Canada it appears.
I’m all for the Aquapland. After seeing it in person, it’s definitely on my list.
I have the same Aqualand and it is a great watch. So different than anything else I have.
Aqualand with a TGN signed dial, count me in. Please.
Another +1 for the Aqualand. Looks incredible.

Keep up the great work, Chase!

Thanks guys!
How about a Oak & Oscar Humboldt GMT, TGN edition, complete with dive time bezel, instead of the 24h bezel?

Thought it might be perfect for the Aqualand, but sorry to say, no PVD hardware option!
