I live in a Brooklyn, NYC apartment and have had a Water Rower for some years. Love it. The water swoosh makes it a joy to listen to on the occasion where I'm not listening to a podcast. The wood finish is great and seamlessly blends into the bookcase behind it when I sand it up while not in use. Just watched the first two episodes of Andor last night after listening to this. Bravo.

If you need to convert your existing e-books to Kindle format, download Calibre (https://calibre-ebook.com/) and manage your collection with that. There's a built in format converter that is amazing. I've been using it for years and have both a Kindle and a Kobo

Got the kindle for my mum, thanks vm!

I love the idea of the Bowflex, but if you have little weight on them they're, well, long.

I was halfway through the season when I realized that Andor was my favorite Star Wars thing I've ever seen, bar none. I was ambivalent about it when it was announced, as I didn't find the character all that interesting in Rogue One, but by the end of the first episode I was won over. It makes the universe feel deep and real and alive in a way nothing else has, and I can't remember the last time that I was so excited to tune in to a show every week.. As others have said, it really has it all, and I've been evangelizing about it to anyone who will listen, and to some who won't.

Both of y'all's final picks have got my wheels turning. I saw Prometheus Designs has a half-zip version of their sweater in grey with a higher collar that I might have to drop some hints about and conspicuously leave the page pulled up on the laptop. Kudos on a good guide this year!

I am all in on Snow Peak. I have purchased the chopping board set for the majority of my adult gifts this year. Works well for camping or a picnic and can come on handy at an Airbnb (notoriously bad kitchen gear in Aus)

I have those same Bowflex dumbells, and picked them up at Sams club for about $100 less than this. They are really great and convenient. They hide away in my garage when I'm not using them, and easy to pull out for a quick workout.

Also that Prometheus sweater looks awesome! I wonder if it's too late for me to forward that to my wife for a Christmas gift idea! haha

I have the radio only version of the Tivoli that I bought well over 16 yrs ago. I bought an aux bluetooth adapter, so I'm still able to use it even though I dont listen to the radio anymore. Looks and sounds great.

I have the TT bolt action mini pen and have bought other variants for people as gifts. They’re made here in N Texas to boot! <— see what I did there?

Andor is fantastic, and won’t surprise anyone that’s familiar with Tony Gilroy’s (Bourne movies, Michael Clayton, Rogue One) work. Smart, tense, and completely watchable even if you’re not that into Star Wars.

Also, thanks for costing me quite a bit of money today. 😂 The Tivoli was the gift I was looking for, and the PDW sweater was a gift to myself.

Andor is quite good! It’s a prequel to Rogue One which is a prequel to the first Star Wars movie (a prequel to a prequel?!?). Love that there’s no Jedi gobbledygook. Spy movie. Heist thriller. Political drama. Action movie. It’s a hodgepodge of all that and it has Stellan Skarsgard who is always great.

My only criticism is that I think it gets a little too talky at times and kind of slow. I haven’t finished yet and think I need to go back and start over to pick up on stuff I missed.

Had a similar experience on the first go around with Severance but then I went back and paid close attention and fell in love with the show. Definitely add Severance to your list of you haven’t watched it yet.

Severance is incredible. Slow, but totally with purpose.

In a year with some pretty good tv (for me: Better Call Saul final season, White Lotus, the Bear, Taskmaster, the Rehearsal) Severance was the best and it wasn't even close.

It’s been a hell of a year for TV! I’ll add Reservation Dogs to that list.

Totally agree! And it had one hell of a cliffhanger!
