This week, the TGN Boys present the final episode of 2024 with a look back at the best Final Notes pick from the past year. From books to documentaries, videos, and various bits and bobs, both simple and complex – it’s the greatest hits of Jason and James’ recommendations from 2024.
To close this episode and all of 2024, Jason presents the only end-of-year Final Notes we all need: the CBC’s reading of The Shepherd. We hope you love it. Thanks so much for an amazing year and all of your support. From general listeners to those on the Supporter Crew, those who grabbed merch, and, of course, those who attended hangouts, a huge thank you from Jason and James for another great year. We’ll see you in 2025.

"New year—a new chapter, new verse, or just the same old story? Ultimately, we write it. The choice is ours.” —Alex Morritt.
Thanks for another great year of episodes! Happy holidays to you and yours and all of the TGN faithful.
Flying from Toronto to Tokyo and returning in two days is not as exhausting as it sounds. AC1 to Haneda leaves late morning and arrived late afternoon in Japan, so feels like a long day. The return is similar so the jet lag isn't so bad. And the flights are long so you can snooze and get something done. I've done it many times. Give yourself time to go to the shops in Haneda. They are nice. May find some good X-mas gifts. Hope all goes well.
