The Grey NATO – 309 – Ingrained With Callum Robinson
This episode is primarily focused on an extended chat that Jason had with the author, creator, and master woodworker, Callum Robinson. Working first with his father and later with his wife and their outfit, Method Studios, Callum has collaborated with many well-known brands, including Vacheron Constantin, AnOrdain, Bentley, Burberry, Jaguar-Land Rover, and more. His work is based in the world of woodworking, but his creations extend what you might think is possible for the genre. He has written a new book called “Ingrained: The Making Of A Craftsman” (which is available now in the UK and releases in the USA on December 3rd).
Callum and Jason chat about how he got his start in woodworking, how he approached the luxury world, the details of some of his most special collaborations, and the process of writing his new book.
Stay in the mix for a Final Notes that will have you considering a fun “new” lamp and digging into a brand-new spy series with some familiar faces.
